  2. Each price is where an Original starts. Yours is set once, for your story, in your written proposal, before any work begins.
  3. Care is hosting, monitoring, updates and small changes, handled by us. After it, care continues on terms set out in your proposal.
  4. Aqua Springs, KYÔ and Details are demos we built on our own initiative, not client work.

Is a Khay Original a website?
It lives at your web address and opens on phones, tablets and computers, like a website. But it is made as a place to step into rather than pages to read, and it is made for one brand.
How is an Original priced?
For our launch, Originals are half price, from MUR 112,500 instead of MUR 225,000, in three kinds: Essential, Signature and Atelier. Each one is then priced once, for one story, after our first conversation, and you have your figure in writing before any work begins.
Why only a few each year?
Every Original is led by our Managing Creative Director himself, from the first conversation to the unveiling. That is the limit, so we accept a few each year.
Who owns what?
Your brand, story, content, data and domain are yours. The blueprint behind your Original, meaning the code, tools and method we make every Original with, stays with us. How you may use your Original is set out in your written proposal.
What happens if we part ways?
Your brand, story, content, data and domain stay yours. What happens to your Original, including its hosting and care, is set out in your written proposal before you sign.
Can I start with a website and apply later?
Yes. A website or a launch pack is a good starting point, and what is yours comes with you when you apply.
Are your demos Originals?
No. Details, Aqua Springs and KYÔ are demos we built on our own initiative, for Mauritian brands we admire, to show what an Original can be. They are not client work.
How long does an Original take?
As long as the story needs. The timeline and payment terms are agreed in writing, with the price, before any work begins.
What if you decline?
We tell you personally, and suggest what would serve your brand better, often one of our websites.
