No. Details, Aqua Springs and KYÔ are demos we built on our own initiative, for Mauritian brands we admire, to show what an Original can be. They are not client work.

Pre-made offers are standardised packs for branding and website development with fixed deliverables and transparent, published pricing, designed for quick delivery. Tailored solutions are for needs that go beyond a pack, require unique functionality, or a modified version of a pack, we provide a customised quote, and these projects may involve a longer timeline.

Pre-made offers come with fixed terms and deliverables and can't be modified directly, if you need a different scope, ask us for a tailored quote. Once a pack project is delivered, a Website Care plan covers future additions, modifications and enhancements.

Pay in full before the project starts, or a 50/50 split (50% before start, 50% before final delivery). For projects above MUR 30,000 you can also choose staged payments of 50% / 30% / 20%, or an extended payment plan over up to 5 months, a small Sharia-compliant facility fee applies and is stated in the agreement. Khay Originals are paid as set out in your written proposal.

Absolutely not. All fees, including any facility fees on extended plans, are clearly outlined in our agreement. There are no hidden clauses or small print.

Pre-made offers: branding projects from 2 days; website projects from 24 hours. Tailored solutions: from 5 working days, extending to several months depending on complexity and the modifications you request. A Khay Original takes as long as its story needs, and its timeline is agreed in writing before work begins.

Your involvement is crucial. For pre-made offers you select and approve base templates or share clear inspiration, and we propose solutions. For tailored solutions, approvals are needed at each stage so the result matches your vision. We guide you throughout.

We prefer clients provide their own text. Within pre-made offers we work with your text and supply free stock images. For tailored solutions, professional copywriting and content creation are optional add-ons.

Yes, the first year of hosting is included with every pre-made offer. You can also use your own hosting provider; we would need administrative access to link your website. For a Khay Original, hosting is set out in your written proposal.

Yes. We create a client account in your name with our provider for transparency and ease of management. You can also register your domain yourself and give us access to link it.

You receive a handover of access to your website's administrative area so you can manage content and make basic updates, plus training delivered virtually or in person. Domain and hosting controls may be managed through our accounts for service consistency. For a Khay Original, what you can edit yourself, and how, is set out in your written proposal.

Yes, Website Care plans cover maintenance, security updates, technical support and future modifications and additions after launch. See the pricing page for plans.

For packs, websites and brand work, yes. On full payment and final delivery you receive vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) and common image formats (PNG, JPG) for your logo and brand elements, and for custom software and websites, IP rights are transferred to you as set out in the service agreement. Khay Originals are the one exception: your brand, story, content, data and domain are yours, while the blueprint every Original is built on, meaning our code, tools and method, stays with us. How you may use your Original is set out in your written proposal.

Yes. All websites are designed with scalability in mind, new features, functionality and capacity can be added through a Website Care plan or a tailored solution as your business evolves.

Yes. SmartOps by Khay, our platform, dedicated to the digital transformation of SMEs, integrates directly with the websites we build to manage leads, customer relationships, sales pipelines and marketing. We can also integrate third-party CRMs if you prefer.

Yes. Our governance work covers the IT and data-protection groundwork, and Priva, our own compliance workspace built for Mauritius, keeps your registers, breach deadlines, data subject requests and policies in one place. We hold ourselves to the same standard: Khay Digital is registered with the Data Protection Office as both a data controller and a data processor. Priva is a compliance tool, not legal advice: under the DPA 2017 the controller remains responsible for compliance.

Yes. E-commerce, online booking, advanced lead-generation tools and other complex features can be built onto your existing website through a Website Care plan or as a tailored solution.
