Cue is a teleprompter camera app for Android, made by Khay Digital Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. In short: Cue doesn't collect, share or sell any personal information, and it has no internet permission, so it can't send anything off your phone.
Camera and microphone
Cue asks for camera and microphone access so you can record video with sound. It only records while you are filming. Videos are saved to the Movies/Cue folder on your phone, and we never see them.
Your scripts and settings
Scripts and settings are kept in Cue's private storage on your phone. Android's cloud backup is switched off for Cue, so they are not copied to Google Drive. Uninstalling Cue deletes them; the videos you have recorded stay in Movies/Cue until you delete them.
Export and import
When you tap Export, Cue saves your scripts as a file in a place you choose with Android's file picker. If you choose a cloud service, that service's own privacy policy covers the file. Import only reads the file you pick.
No tracking
Cue has no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it contains no third-party code that collects data.
Google Play
You buy and download Cue through Google Play. Google handles your payment and the download under the Google Privacy Policy. Google gives us sales reports, and crash reports if you have chosen to share them with Google. These never include your name, your email address or anything you write or film in Cue.
Children
Cue is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if anything here changes; the date at the top shows the current version. For any question about Cue and your privacy, email faiz@khay.digital. Khay Digital Ltd is registered in Mauritius, BRN C22187903.
